And the aspect of life continues to question

The aspect of life continues to revolve around Mary . Mary’s unquestionable journey steps forward sorrounding the general aspect of certain abilities within society to concentrate on what the actual truth behind life is . Is it what we think of? Is it all pretend? Is it something that just comes and never returns?
Think about that for a moment .

What is Life?

   That is a very good concept of actually questioning what is the aspect and motivation of life .

That is a very controversial thought . That is why my short film consists of different questions of just how far humanity has gone to concentrate on an actual aspect of different intellectual differences within our own lives .

What helps us separate truth from our non existing thoughts ?

What is the concept of questioning life ?

Why is it that some people choose waking up early on a Saturday morning rather than staying up late on a Friday night?

All of these questions connect with the concept of my main character .

The combination of artsy shots of different aspects of certain abilities can lead you to understand a better description of the main character as she is going through these thoughts while being at different places with different abilities. .

That is the idea of it all.

To really contribute a questioning aspect of life . This theory of not understanding everything that is around us that has been man made   .

Why is it that man kinds ideal society is going to school , then college , and then work?

These are the questions that Mary is asking herself throughout the entire film .

Why not make a film of questioning the un-experimented ?

Why not step out of my comfort zone ?

And so we continue

What is up guys !

So as I continue to film my short film , I keep noticing that there are key moments within the process of understanding just exactly how an experimental film works . 

It is so interesting to go through each process and to think about how our lives work . 

I am half way through the film!

I can’t believe that I am already wrapping up the 3rd week of this cool project . 

The best part so far , has been the ability to capture artsy shots . I love the aspect of contributing to a better understanding of what is to come so that I can show that within my short film . 

The better question though is how can such a different film create meaning?

No one questions meanings . 

No one questions the truth . No one questions their lives . 

These questions are really eye opening and skeptical . 

It contributed to a general aspect of how every general informative becomes intriguing . 

Intriguing . 

That’s a curious word .

THE MEANING BEHIND THIS SHOT IS MENT TO CREATE A SENSE OF WONER .
WONDER OF MY MAIN CHARACTER WALKING AS SHE IS WONDERING EVERYTHING THAT IS BEING PRESENTED IN FRONT OF HER .





 THIS SHOT WAS A SPONTANEOUS SHOT THAT WAS FILMED WITH THE INTENTION TO CEATE A SENSE OF MYSTICAL BEAUTY .  AS I WAS TELLING SOPHIE TO DIRECT HER CHARACTER , THERE WAS A FLOCK OF BIRDS THAT WENT THROUGH THE SHOT . MAKING IT THE PERFECT SCENERY TO CAPTURE THIS PARTICULAR SCENE WITHIN THE SHORT FILM .

Beach Beachy , I am feeling beachy!

Alright guys so here it comes ,

I loved filming these scenes at 7:30 am . The sun against the water  , the weather , the people .

The whole thing was the completed package of a perfect movie set without the fancy equipment  .

As I was filming my main character , I actually felt as I were in a movie set and I was the director .

The Scene :

Following my storyboard , I started to film the shots that I neeed to portray an “oddly satisfying feeling” .

Then , I started to get really artsy with the shots that were intended to be artsy .

It was such an amazing experience .

As I was watching my main actress portray her role with the addition of a beautiful scenery ,

I started to cry. I cried of selfless emotion because this moment reminded me that theses were the aspects of life that motivated me to want to become a movie director  .

To tell a story with just a Camera and an I phone Camera .

No tripod , no fancy editing software , no professional actors . Nothing .

Just my faith and my imagination .

From Inspiration to Production

So , continuing my discussion of inspiration

I also saw a short film that my instructor recommended .

“World of Tomorrow “ by Don Hertzeldt

All I can say is

     WOW!

This film was someone opening . It was nothing like I have ever seen before and it makes you question your purpose in life . What impacted me the most while I was watching the short film, was the fact that the animation looked like 3 year old drew those pictures and brought them to life . The color , the composition , the beauty of its weirdness .

This film was an exact representation of what I would like to achieve  .

I was so amazed at how such a wierd piece gave so much meaning to society’s ways .

How can 16 minutes of my life turn and question every aspect of everything that I have ever known?

Oooo I really like that line!

Another line that I am now going to use for my main character .

Anyways , I definitely recommend you guys to check it out . You will not be the same after you see that short film ...

Time to FILM

   Hey guys!

So this past Saturday I went to go film my first scenes within my short film .

I did something crazy  (which for any teenager this adventure is CRAZY)

I went to the beach to see the sunrise !

Yep . That means that I wolk up at 6 in the morning on a Saturday.

Now ofcourse for student athletes that is a normal routine .

But not for me!

Now before I get into the details of how everything went down during my first production process ,
I am going to let you in on the latest 411 of how I got to the point of wanting to create something super original , that made me take a step out of my comfort zone .

As I was thinking about how I. Hold make a wierd yet oddly satisfying short film , I came across a video on Instagram entitled “ I , Kendall .

Model Kendell Jenner had posted it on her Instagram showing a little excerpt of the video and it started of with a question that fits the style of my short film ,

                    “AM I AWAKE”

The way that VOUGE portrayed Kendell was oddly satisfying . It was so simple yet so meaningful .

This was one of the short excerpts that inspired me to create something along the lines of “oddly
satisfying”.

Let's make something wierd

So here we go .

I am about to make a film that is wierd , and edgy , and artsy , and just wierd .

This is a HUGE step for me .

I always have these ideas of outgoing things yet I do not apply them within my actual production.

The funny part is that , I actually do question the normal . I do .

Since this is my very first short film  

I have to be honest , I am a bit nervous to do something that questions the status quote .

I am .

But I am ready to get to get artsy and edgy .

The truthful question is why not make something different?

Let's make something wierd .

Now I have to admit

Ok . Ok .
So here is the thing  ,
Obviously I have had to change some of the script scenes in order to fit my characters points of view better .

As you guys have seen in my postings for my storyboard and script  , you have seen that each actual concept of the short film seems a bit cliche .

After speaking with my instructor about my idea , she opened up a lot things that I have to think about . One of them being ,
"Stay out of your comfort zone " .
I always want to but when it comes down to it , I always go the same route .

Why not try something weird?

Why not try to  make something different?

WHY NOT?

Why not make the whole entire film a film about questioning everything?

Why Not?

The possibilities are endless and I am glad the my instructor helped me to understand that it is ok to be different . It is ok to do something wierd .

So here it goes . Here is my new plan

   Hey guys! So today I started filming ! I got to say , using a DSLR for my first short film that I have ever done before is a bit intimidating but after my first couple of tales , I got the hang out of it and now I realize that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life (If God permits) .

Here is a little bit of an introduction toward my cast .

First up is my main actress
     Ladies and gentlemen give it up for Sophie Diebold .

As I was thinking about who was going to be my main character for my short film , I noticed that Sophie would be the perfect fit towards my main character who's name is Mary .

Meet Sophie
16 years old with a passion for filmmaking and acting . The perfect fit for my Mary .

Next Up we have Alyssa
15 years old with a passion for acting .
As I was trying to get my supporting lead actress , I ran into Alyssa . As I saw her role playing attributes I knew that she would be the perfect "mean " character  .

I wanted these two characters to have a dramatic yet "chill" type of field that would enhance my target audience by making sure that my actors would be speaking the way that teenagers speak today .
I also wanted to make it look as natural as possible .
