 Hey Guys! So here it is!

 EFFECTIVE'S POST CARD TO HAND OUT IN THE UPCOMING FILM FESTIVALS!

I went with a contrasting set of semi collage images to represent a color with different stills that the audience will see.

#Correction

Continuing into my last blog that I posted , I had ment to say that I took some shots of my little cousins who are 5 and 9 years old.

Just seeing the way that they observed the world . So differently .
Full of joy . Fearless . And un-afraid of anything .

That is what inspired me to change the writing a bit of this particular scene .

I want these shots to emphasize that our childhood part of our present has left us because we are constantly worried about the what if’s and the maybee sayings .

It’s time to take that back and actually enjoy every aspect of life .

That is why I want to include this is my short film .

And so those questions turn into a movie

   As I was in Stuart , I thought of the perfect way to contribute to the concept of portraying these questions that would lead me to create a something .

My cousins are the perfect characters to put within my short film as the main character contributes to the actual aspect of how each actual young contribution is portrayed .

The freedom  of Howe children live their lives is something to admire .

They run free . Free to do anything and dream anything they want to dream

Without any negative objects stoping them .

This is a huge influential aspect of how each contribution is .

How tennagers and adults no longer have the living freedom that they once have because of the question that stops the, from reaching their full potential  .

I took some shots of how my cousins who are 5 and 9 year she old see the world .

Time out for a second

I can’t believe that these past weeks have gone by so fast .

 Now I have been planning all along to create a thing different . But ther isn’t one question that I am still thinking about ....

Should I film underwater?

While it does look kind of cool , I believe that there are different aspects of how the actual
film should loook like that I should not include like

           “The underwater Shot”

While filming underwater looks cool , I don’t know whether to put it inside of my short film beach

 again I want to create something out of the ordinary . Something that makes my audience feel
something without actually having to include a chest shit that people feel is a good way to interpret all aspects of how it works  .

Here is a little glimpse of the narration that my character will portray throughout the film ,

“How does it all Work?”

“How does our way of thinking contribute to how we really think when we are not thinking about the results that are going to be seen”

“What if instead of competing to see who is better at a math problem or what college is better , we think about love , kindness , and the element of respect for others”

“When we are little , we do not care about the “What if’s”

“What if I don’t look like everyone  else”

“What if they think that the Colllege that I am going to is a college of mediocrity “

I believe that these questions that tennagers ask them selves everyday are an essential part of how they developed amd how they feel .

That’s  very important .

Production Process is almost a Close

  Hey Guys!

So the production of my short film is almost  coming to a close  .  Sad to say because I love creating different shots that inspire me to create different aspects of how the actual concentration  of my film will become .

This past week , I was in Stuart  . I took the beautiful scenery aspect of the town to help to include it within my short film .

Within the artsy shots that I intend to put in , my main character’s voice over will consist of the narration aspect as she questions all actions .

Again. , my short film is not a typical film .

My short Film consists of questioning every human aspect of life .

I am  so excited to share with you guys the final product!

Each content that isn’t within the actual production process is a great way to experiment different aspects of capturing different moments without ever having to question wether what you are doing is correct .

I have captured some intense shots of life that will get my audience to think of their perspectives .

Each content is a perfect ingredient .

Waking up at 6 in the morning to shoot at the beach was an amazing experience .

Not having any actual dilouloge is a very tough risk to induce . But you see that’s the whole point that I am trying to convey .

Why should a movie consist of actual dilouge when you can try something different?

Now don't get me wrong , this is definitely something outside of my comfort zone  .

I would normally go for the traditional short film with a worldly situation and cheeses on screen dialogue  .

But why not try something different you know?

MUSIC

  Music is an amazing concept within the creation of making a short film.

Within  the short film genre , each movies music concept is such a key element with creating a successful short film.

I love listening to music . Music inspires me to think of different aspects of life . Kind off of like how I would dream of different scenes for my short film .

Within my spring break vacation , I plugged in my head phones to listen to music. As my music plays , I look at my surroundings to see what other people would look like Of they were in a music video .

It’s fun to imagine those aspects of life .

What ever I imagine , I write down and then I shoot .

A great example of narration music is

“La La Land” (2016)

The soundtrack is an exquisite touch towards understanding how music plays a role within a movie .


This movie inspired me to make sure that within my short film  , I have that spark that allows the music the short film to play a character within my short film .

To Tell you more

 So you guys know that my short film is very experimental meaning that each shot isn’t necessarily the way that an actual short film of the fight because I’m trying to question tomorrow. I am trying to question why is that different people do different things through one single character. A voiceover is a huge aspect of telling a story.

Narration helps to create a tone within a movie that allows audience members to  synchronize within their own aspect how they interpret the movie that you watching.

I’m trying to get away from actual dialogue on screen and rather putting that dialogue inside of my main characters rain as she is the one near rating her whole experience without actually saying it physical word on screen. Meaning, her mouth is never going to music in the short film.

 This is definitely something out of my comfort zone because I usually tend to go for more easier things that allow me to create something things that are simple.

 This is the first time where I’m taking a step out of my bubble and entering a world and where I can do anything with the help of my faith.

As I was trying to figure out how I’m going to portray this character the best way possible I tried to listen to some examples of how to narration  plays a crucial role within a film .

Take Matitlda (1996)
as an example.

Within the beginning of the movie , a narrator begins to tell Matilda’s story creating a since of comfort within the audience .

This is what I strive to achieve within my short film .
